What’s an RSS reader?
Feed Readers/ Aggregators are software that acquire feeds from various RSS publishers in real-time and display them for you to read and use.
A variety of RSS Readers are available for different platforms. Some popular desktop feed readers include Amphetadesk (Windows, Linux, Mac), FeedReader (Windows) and NewsGator (Windows). There are also a number of popular web-based feed readers such as My Yahoo, Bloglines, and Google Reader.
In addition to that, some browsers such as Firefox and Opera have built-in RSS reading functionality which you could utilize for feed subscription.
