• A skilled System Integrator to integrate Microsoft based applications to support business requirements.
• The Candidate will possess specific experience of enterprise systems, component validation and integrating technical Infrastructures and system management facilities within a Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server environment.
• The candidate would thus possess a good understanding of Windows 2003 server & XP configurations and enterprise software deployment tools.
• They would also need some understanding of general network and storage considerations.

Qualifications/ Experience

Essential Skills:

• Work with developers and designers from an initial stage to ensure that new functionality is optimally deployed and asses the technical impact of the changes
• Develop and create initial builds of maintainable systems suitable for business requirements, ensuring that the components install successfully
• Test developments thoroughly before handing over to Support
• Enable more routine elements of system administration to be delegated to Support, providing appropriate tools where necessary
• Document systems and identify weaknesses in systems and work to remove them
• Confident hands-on ability to install Microsoft applications on Windows 2003 & XP platforms.
• Requires good understanding of TCP/IP Networks and the ability to identify communications issues between Firewalls and network infrastructure.
• Proven experience of configuring MS Active Directory including group policies.
• Team player, good communication skills, an ability and desire to acquire and share knowledge.

Desirable skills:

• Background will include a proven track record of creating and updating System build documents.
• Any knowledge of Dell/HP Servers and EMC SAN technologies is beneficial. Knowledge of Oracle DB, IIS & Citrix Presentation 4 Server would be advantageous.
• Powershell & VB Scripting
