The Business Architect is expected to

• Develop an understanding of the client’s strategy and desired business model
• Analyze, design, and develop client strategies to support the proposed business model and application architecture
• Develop detailed ROI and TCO models supporting and communicating the financial implications of different strategies or technology investments
• Collaborate with technical team members throughout the project lifecycle
• Offer functional knowledge within the PSA group’s industries of strategic focus, including knowledge of technology and the telecom or high tech industry
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of many analytical frameworks and can coach others in new ways to leverage frameworks to develop powerful conclusions
• Drive the development of strategic direction for clients and develops innovative strategic directions
• Drive development and extension of processes to help clients assess strategic direction and options
• Drive the development of detailed research and analysis work, including directing the work assigned to other team members
• Synthesize research findings and draws conclusions. Gather information on clients’ current strategy, strategic direction and business model, and analyzes this information with assistance o Conduct research interviews independently
• Assist in the development of workshops to help clients evaluate strategic options

Minimum 5 years experience in management consulting or product management role in relevant vertical industry , MBA or advanced degree desirable

Experience Required:
Business Architects are experienced client delivery professionals with one or both of the following backgrounds:

• Manager level from Big 5 consulting firms, management consulting firms, systems integration firms, or from relevant industry functional roles
• Product management experience in a telecom or high tech company. Business Architects should possess the following qualifications:
• Proven ability to sell and deliver high-end consulting work
• Minimum 5 years experience in management consulting or product management role in relevant vertical industry,
• Strong financial modeling capability and extensive experience with Excel
• Excels at creation and delivery of presentations and written work products
• Demonstrates effective facilitation and interview skills
• Experience with both quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Experience in the full client delivery lifecycle, including business planning, data analysis, process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, and system design
• Proven success working in and/or leading dynamic cross-competency teams using a structured project methodology
• Ability to build client relationships and create client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Bachelors degree and strong academic performance in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Business, Economics, Marketing, or Liberal Arts
• MBA or advanced degree desirable
