Job Description:
The appointed candidate should teach Financial Management courses, will have proved research record in the area of Financial Management. He or she will be expected to make a substantial contribution to the research activities of the College, and to undertake teaching and administrative duties as assigned by the Dean.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops written course outlines and course materials.
  • Delivers courses, supervises, instructs and trains a diverse population of students in a classroom, lab setting and/or different sites.
  • Set and execute examination schedules; Evaluates knowledge of subject matter taught and monitors students’ scholastic records; Prepares and grades exams.
  • Develops and enhances knowledge of subject matter taught and individual training skills required to remain current with new trends and developments in the field and to promote the capabilities of teaching and learning through attendance of conferences, courses, seminars, and/or workshops.
  • Maintains office hours to assist and advise students.
  • Supervises students’ projects and performs research.
  • Supervises students’ projects and performs research.
  • Engages in the academic life of the college by participating in District wide and campus committees.
  • Carries out administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Dean
Special Working Conditions:
  • May be required to teach at multiple sites and/or may be assigned to teach days, evenings, or weekends.

Skills:
  • Teaching experience at a university level is required for at least three years
  • Must also exhibit originality and excellence in some field connected with teaching and learning, writing and researching;.
  • Strong, solid and recent research record in the expertise required by the position.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in academic programs based on the American Model of Education.
  • Must have demonstrated ability in advising, guiding and counseling students;
  • Commitment to diversity and multiculturalism;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the team;
  • Official certificates and transcripts of all achieved degrees and three professional references.
  • Knowledge of computer is a must – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Knowledge of other softwares would be desirable.
  • High English language proficiency.


Education: Ph.D. degree from an accredited and reputable university.
