Job Description:
- Analyse the natural elements of the site, such as the climate, soil, slope of the land, drainage, and vegetation.
- Prepare preliminary design after studying and analysing the site.
- Take into account any local regulations, such as those protecting wetlands or historic resources.
- Review the approved plans, working drawings and all existing and proposed features.
- Review in detail the methods of construction and the list of necessary materials.
- Visit and analyse the site during the design and planning stage to verify that the design can be incorporated into the landscape.
Skills:
- High skills in all design processes from inception to completion.
- Creative in conceptual designing.
- Knowledge in preparing tender documents and proposals would be advantageous.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D), 3D Studio MAX, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Sketch Up.
- Advanced skills in MS Office.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills and fluency in the English language. Knowledge of the Arabic language would be advantageous.
